MARY ADAMS O'CONNELL
PRESIDENT & CEO
Mary Adams O'Connell founded Adams O'Connell, Inc. in 2001 to serve the investment and management needs of her three-generation family. She serves as its President and CEO, overseeing strategic direction, directing legal matters, making investment decisions, and advising clients. She has over 40 years’ experience in real estate and family asset management. Formerly Mary served for ten years as President and CEO of Morgan Adams, Inc. where she initiated client financial reporting, strategic planning, and the first four-generation family business meetings.
Mary serves on the Children’s Hospital Los Angeles (CHLA) Board of Trustees. She chairs its Government Relations Committee, serves on the Executive Committee, and formerly chaired the Investment Committee. She advises the Latino & African American High School Internship Program (LA-HIP) at CHLA, and serves on the Advancement Project Los Angeles Advisory Board. Mary graduated from Smith College, and received her MBA from the University of Missouri.
Liesel Reinisch
VICE PRESIDENT & COO
Liesel Reinisch is Vice President and Chief Operating Officer at Adams O’Connell, Inc. She joined the firm in 2002 and helped broaden the company’s asset base. Liesel oversees all of the daily operations, and is responsible for property management, oversight of public and private equity, new acquisitions, and client communication. Liesel has more than twenty years of entrepreneurial, real estate, and family business management experience. Before joining Adams O’Connell, Inc., Liesel managed several food and beverage companies in the bay area and Southern California. She oversaw operations at Steelhead Brewing Company in San Francisco and Burlingame. Her background includes online marketing production and communications strategy consulting.
Liesel graduated from Colorado College, and earned an MBA from the University of Southern California. She volunteers as Treasurer of the Silverlake Jewish Community Center and heads the Finance Committee. She is an active member of the Stuart Ketchum Downtown YMCA Friends of the Y Board.
KITTY HANG, CPA
CONTROLLER
Kitty Hang, CPA, is the Financial Controller at Adams O’Connell, Inc., and joined AOC in 2013. She oversees accounting functions, all reporting and financial analysis activities, budgets, audits, and tax matters. With her background in information systems, she is the in-house expert on the company’s property management software program.
Kitty is a Certified Public Accountant licensed by the state of California. She was formerly an associate at a regional CPA firm in Orange County, and has served as Controller for an investment advisory firm, among other positions. Kitty graduated with a BS in Accounting and a minor in Computer Information Systems from California Polytechnic State University at Pomona. She currently volunteers as Treasurer for Boy Scout Troop 491 in Glendora, CA, and for the Glendora High School Band & Pageantry.
Roxanne Connelly
OFFICE MANAGER
Roxanne joined AOC as the Office Manager and Bookkeeper in 2017. She works closely with the team on administrative and accounting functions. Roxanne is a Notary Public commissioned in the state of California.
Prior to joining AOC, Roxanne was employed as a legal secretary at the global law firm, Dentons, LLP. Roxanne also has more than twenty years of administrative and accounting experience. She attended California State University, Fresno where she studied mathematics. Outside of AOC, Roxanne assists with the publication of The California Target Book, a subscription based almanac of California politics.
Amin Gilani, CPA
TAX PLANNING
Amin (“Al”) is a Partner at Kaufman & Kabani. He has over twenty five years of experience in all aspects of accounting, business advisory and financial management services for a diversified range of clients. He also manages complex tax planning and compliance work. Amin began working with Adams O’Connell, Inc in 2011.
Formerly, Al has worked at an international affiliate of Price Waterhouse Coopers. He is a California Certified Public Accountant and a licensed Chartered Accountant and a Cost and Management Accountant. He is also a recipient of the J.P. Patel Gold Medal for outstanding performance at the Chartered Accountants’ examinations.
John Colglazier Jr., SIOR
PROPERTY MANAGEMENT, LEASING, SALES
John joined Colglazier Properties in San Antonio and has been working in real estate for over twenty years. He was born and raised in San Antonio and graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1996. He has since spent his time specializing in consulting, sales and leasing of all types of industrial, manufacturing and distribution product. John began working with Adams O’Connell, Inc. in 2005, advising on acquisitions and management of Texas based assets.
GARY ECKWORTZEL
PROPERTY ACQUISITIONS & MANAGEMENT
Gary is a licensed commercial and residential real estate agent. He has over 25 years experience in the acquisition, management and construction of residential real estate. Gary began working with AOC in 2004 advising on property acquisitions for 1031 exchanges. His expertise in mechanical engineering has been useful in assessments and on-going management. He previously worked with Grubb-Ellis and NAI Capital. He received his MBA from the University of Michigan and a BS in Mechanical Engineering from UCLA.
DAVID WERNTZ
INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY
David is a 35 year information technology veteran with experience in software development, business systems implementation and management, infrastructure management, systems operations, and large scale project management. He is a graduate of the California Institute of Technology where he earned a BS in Engineering and Applied Science, and a Masters in Computer Information Systems from the Claremont Graduate University. Following a career in IT at Cal Tech, he joined the Adams O’Connell team in 2013.
DANA REINISCH
DESIGN & COMMUNICATIONS
Dana advises Adams O'Connell Inc. on strategic opportunities, branding and website design. She has worked for over 25 years in design, including 10 years with Nike creating innovative footwear and apparel. She has consulted with both Fortune 500 companies, Procter & Gamble, HP and Whirlpool, as well as transformative start-ups. Dana holds a BSID from Art Center College of Design and a BA from Lewis & Clark College. In 2013 Dana started Smart Girl Design LLC, a design consulting firm in Los Angeles.
